Interessant dazu auch die griechische Mythologie:
Nachdem Epimetheus die Büchse der Pandora öffnete, gelangten alle Übel und Seuchen in die Welt. Schnell wurde sie wieder geschlossen, doch alles Schlechte war bereits entwischt. Nur die Hoffnung befand sich ganz am Boden der ja nun verschloßenen Büchse.......Prometheus befreite sie aber dann wohl doch noch, bevor er von Zeus gehindert werden konnte.
